About Rich
Richard J. Gregson, Esq.
Rich specializes in the computer and electronics industry and, over the last 25 years, also supported clients in industries as diverse as aerospace, medical device, and telecommunications. In addition, he has protected hundreds of different products and inventions for individuals. His expertise includes client counseling and patent portfolio development.
Rich worked as a computer engineer at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory in an embedded computer systems group. He authored technical papers at conferences organized by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. Rich has worked as a practicing U.S. Registered Patent Attorney in both private practice at large and small law firms, as a senior patent counsel at a multi-national computer systems and software corporation, as a patent examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), and as an adjunct professor of intellectual property law for paralegals at Villanova University.
Following graduation from Boston University with a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Rich received his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law. Rich is admitted to the Maryland Bar and the USPTO.
